Avon has since expanded from selling perfumes. Their products now include personal care, jewelry, men’s wear, and home and kitchen wares. They have over 750 patents for their products in the last 20 years. At their Suffern facility in New York, they have a team of scientists, engineers, and beauty specialists who are dedicated to creating beauty products.
Avon started manufacturing its own products in the Philippines through Avon Products Manufacturing, Inc. more than a decade ago. The plant which is located in Calamba, Laguna manufactures cosmetic, fragrance and toiletry (CFT) products. Some of the products are exported to Avon’s counterparts in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

How can you build your Avon business?
First, you have to be a Franchise dealer or a sales representative by registering directly from Avon’s website, through face to face, or online assistance through Avon Grow. Once you successfully register, Avon will provide P1500 – P7000 worth of products, not cash, depending on the requirements provided which will jumpstart your Avon business.
Now, how much can you earn from selling Avon products?
How do you earn?
- Direct Selling/ Franchise Dealer
Earn 25% to 40% depending on the amount of products sold based on brochure price. The discount is automatically deducted on purchase. A maximum of 35% for beauty plus which includes intimate apparel, bags, and jewelries; 40% for beauty which includes cosmetic, skincare, body care and hair care. You can also increase sales through bundle selling.
- Share and be a Sales Leader
The more you work, the more you earn. As of 2018, a Unit Manager earns as much as P9218 and a Senior Executive Leader at P815,000 per month. Plus you also get to enjoy perks such as free travel incentive, hotel accommodations, and recognitions.
On top of your commissions from direct selling, you’ll earn up to 12% from the sales of your team. You first need to register as a dealer, then enroll as a Sales Leader candidate and complete the requirements in 3 months.
Requirements include a minimum of 2000 personal sales, 10 or more dealers under your group, and 30,000 group sales (combination of your personal and team sale).
As a Sales Leader, you’ll earn 7% to 12% from the sales of your direct recruits, 2% to 3% from the 1st generation (the team of your personal recruits), and 1% to 2% from the 3rd generation.
